This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in community settings and don't mind trading scrubs for sneakers now and then. You'll oversee health screenings, manage medications, and serve as the trusted go-to for all things wellness. Key Responsibilities Deliver daily healthcare services including assessments, treatments, and emergency response Maintain confidential medical records and health logs Administer prescribed medications and coordinate with guardians when needed Conduct arrival screenings and monitor ongoing health concerns Partner with camp leadership to implement safety procedures and promote wellness education Keep the camp running smoothly-even when the bug spray runs out Minimum Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; Maine is a Compact License State Current CPR and First Aid certification Ability to reside on-site for the duration of the camp season Strong communication and documentation skills Comfort working in an outdoor, fast-paced environment Ideal Qualifications Experience in pediatric, school, or camp nursing Adaptability and calm under pressure (bonus points if you can soothe both campers and their parents) Team-oriented, with a positive and approachable personality Interest in outdoor activities or community health work Elevate Your Career Apply for this Camp Nurse position and let Rio Staffing represent you to our network of esteemed healthcare clients.
