We are a renowned Internal Medicine and Family Medicine (18 and over) practice that is known for providing the level of individualized healthcare and attention our patients deserve. Our team is proud to deliver expert and compassionate care for a wide range of health conditions and health services including Hypertension, Diabetes, Thyroid Disease, Hyperlipidemia, School and Work Physicals, Preventative Medicine, Immunization Updates for Adults and Adolescents, Sick Visits, Complete Annual Physical Exam, and Lab services. Our medical team is led by 5 experienced physicians and medical professionals: Lorena Alonzo-Chafart, DO, Asim Gilani, MD, Ninfa Alcasid, MD, Shannon Macrina ANP-C, Johana Torres ANP-C, and a patient-focused clinical staff all working together to make Total Patient Care a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for each and every patient we serve.Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and personable Medical Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient check-in process. Responsibilities include managing patient intake, maintaining accurate medical records, assisting with appointment scheduling, and supporting daily administrative operations.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and able to deliver exceptional customer service while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced medical office environment.Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome and check in patients upon arrivalDetermine patient needs and ensure a smooth intake processRetrieve existing medical records or collect new patient informationAnswer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiriesMaintain accurate and organized medical and administrative recordsFax, mail, and distribute documentation to appropriate providers or officesProvide general administrative support to ensure smooth daily operationsQualificationsStrong customer service and communication skills1-3 years experience preferred with EMR backgroundExcellent organizational abilities and attention to detailProficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)Ability to multitask and work effectively both independently and as part of a teamPrior medical or office experience highly preferredPunctual and reliableStrong work ethic and professionalismResponsible and trustworthyFlexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environmentCompensation$18.00 per hour
