Facility: GSS ND Park River Address: 301 Co Rd 12B, Park River, ND 58270, USA Shift: Varies Job Schedule: PRN Weekly Hours: Varies Competitive Salary: $17.00 - $25.50 Department Highlights: Travel required to support multiple locations within a 150-mile radius. Mileage reimbursement provided for all necessary travel. Premium pay rates include a $5/hour increase for all hours worked, $1.25/hour weekend shift differential, and $1.25/hour night shift differential (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM). Experience Requirements: Minimum of 3 months experience in Long Term Care required; 6 months preferred. Scheduling Requirements: Minimum of 30 hours per month. One weekend shift per month. Job Summary: The Nursing Assistant (NA) plays a vital role in providing compassionate, resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance in our long-term care facility. Under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN), you will: Deliver age-appropriate care tailored to the physical and psychological needs of residents. Assist with basic health care needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, obtaining vital signs, and providing psychosocial support. Facilitate the transfer, repositioning, and mobility of residents using safe techniques and equipment. Support dining needs by assisting residents with meals, creating a positive dining experience, and ensuring hydration. Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, activity, and dietary requirements. Communicate changes in resident conditions to the charge nurse. Maintain a clean living environment through housekeeping and laundry services. Encourage participation in wellness and recreational programs. May also participate in departmental committees and task forces as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Previous clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is an advantage. Must possess a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing or acquire certification within four months of employment. Completion of annual continuing education credits (minimum of 12 hours) and competency testing is required. Some roles may require classification as a Sanford Category II Driver, which entails a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
