Administrative Assistant Aston Carter is hiring an Administrative Assistant in the Tampa area! Under general supervision, provide overall office administrative support, focused on office administration and clerical duties with some project and accounting support. Handle differing situations, problems, and deviations in the work according to the supervisor's general instructions, priorities, policies, and project goals. Responsibilities: Help to set up new computers and maintain computer inventory. Coordinate maintenance of office equipment. Manage inventory and purchase of office and breakroom supplies. Arrange travel and meetings. Handle ingoing and outgoing mail/package duties. Manage incoming calls and visitors. Assist with overall management of the facility. Schedule training and in-house meetings. Review and data entry of vehicle/equipment units log. Place orders for luncheons and assist with setup and teardown. Perform kitchen maintenance. Assist accounting with client invoices and statements. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills: Minimum 1 year of relevant office experience. High School Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree preferred. Valid driver's license with a good driving record required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Ability to multitask and handle multiple interruptions throughout the day. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. Team and client-centered focus. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Administrative support, Microsoft Office, Clerical, Administrative assistance. Customer service, Filing, Calendar management. Work Environment: The position is located onsite in Tampa and requires attendance five days per week. The role involves sitting up front and initially reporting to another person in a separate office. The company offers a great team environment with room for advancement, such as levels of administration and options in accounts payable and billing. The office location is desirable, and benefits are available once permanent employment is achieved, with the potential for a pay increase upon conversion to full-time employment. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
