Location Detail: 80 Seymour Street (10008) Shift Detail: 36-hour night shift position. Every other weekend and holiday. Join our exceptional team where every moment truly matters! In the Surgical-Trauma Intensive Care Unit, a 14-bed facility, we cater to a diverse patient population, including those experiencing motor vehicle trauma, orthopedic injuries, and major surgeries like liver and kidney transplants. Our dedicated team includes Physician Assistants, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, Registered Nurses, and surgical house staff physicians under the guidance of a Surgical-Trauma Intensivist. Job Summary Our Critical Care Registered Nurses (RNs) are highly skilled professionals who provide the highest quality care in a compassionate manner. Working collaboratively as part of a healthcare team, RNs play a vital role in delivering care that aligns with Hartford Healthcare's values of Safety, Excellence, Integrity, and Caring. Qualifications Current Connecticut RN License. Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN Required). BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to date of hire. Minimum one year Acute Care Registered Nurse experience strongly preferred. In exceptional circumstances, experienced ASN/ADN nurses currently pursuing a BSN or MSN may be considered.
