In this vital role, you will: Provide expert clinical care and consultation for patients with acute and chronic wounds, ostomy care, and incontinence issues. Coordinate care and develop evidence-based protocols, ensuring they are refined based on outcomes and emerging best practices. Educate patients, families, and healthcare professionals on wound, ostomy, and continence management. Advocate for patient rights and safety, ensuring ethical standards are upheld within the care team. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications include a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing and a minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience. We prefer candidates with 5 or more years of clinical nursing experience and familiarity with EPIC EHR. You must be a licensed Registered Nurse in Connecticut and enroll in a WOCN Society Accredited Educational Program within one year of hire.
