Your Responsibilities Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized treatment plans. Diagnosing and managing various medical conditions, both acute and chronic, in collaboration with physicians or independently based on your credentials. Educating patients and families regarding prevention, overall wellness, and chronic disease management. Prescribing medications and therapies in line with your professional scope. Accurately documenting all patient interactions within electronic medical records (EMR). Education Prerequisites Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program. Certifications Required Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Kentucky. National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain them within 90 days).
