#10599 Job Description Director of Finance Scope of ResponsibilitiesFinancial Close & Reporting • Own and manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process • Review trial balance activity and account reconciliations • Review and approve journal entries and adjustments • Perform final review of P&L and balance sheet • Prepare and distribute financial statements • Perform financial variance analysis • Close financial periods in Acumatica Financial Planning, Performance & Strategy • Lead annual budgeting process and design budget templates and structure • Develop forecasts, projections, and financial models • Analyze profitability and cost performance by sales channel • Manage cash flow forecasting • Monitor company cash position • Maintain banking relationships • Calculate and monitor bank covenant compliance • Provide financial analysis for executive decision-making • Monitor financial performance metrics and key operating indicators (KPIs) • Support capital planning, financing needs, and credit facility management • Provide financial input for strategic initiatives and operational planning Accounting Oversight & Financial Operations • Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls • Oversee general ledger structure and chart of accounts • Oversee revenue recognition and expense classification standards • Oversee inventory costing methodology and landed cost treatment • Review prepaid, accrual, and asset accounting treatment • Oversee payroll accounting and related reconciliations Revenue, Merchant & Customer Transactions • Oversee multi-channel revenue reporting (Amazon, Walmart, Magento, wholesale) • Oversee merchant processor accounting and settlement review • Establish policies for customer credits, refunds, and adjustments Tax, Compliance & Audit • Prepare and manage company tax filings (state filings, franchise tax, property tax, regulatory reporting) • Prepare and file 1099 reporting • Establish and oversee vendor classification standards and W-9 collection procedures • Manage sales tax compliance and reporting • Coordinate with external CPA firm and auditors • Support audit preparation Finance Governance & Operational Oversight • Oversee accounting system configuration, financial structure, account mapping, and reporting integrity within Acumatica • Monitor effectiveness of internal controls and financial risk exposure • Establish and maintain finance department procedures and workflows • Manage company insurance policies (property, liability, business coverage) • Lead and supervise accounting and finance function #IND
