Overview Next 150 Construction is excited to announce an opportunity for a Construction Project Supervisor II. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our project field operations by effectively coordinating assigned trade contractors and managing field activities. You will ensure that all work aligns with the approved scope of work, adheres to safety regulations, meets quality standards, and is completed on schedule. Operate with a high degree of autonomy while facilitating daily planning, documentation, and execution activities. Responsibilities As a Construction Project Supervisor II, you will be integral in enforcing safety standards, conducting quality control inspections, and ensuring seamless field coordination. Collaborate closely with senior field leadership to optimize job site operations. Efficiently coordinate assigned trade contractors and field activities to comply with approved schedules, budgets, and work plans. Thoroughly review and adhere to contract documents, drawings, and specifications for your designated scopes. Stay informed on all field activities, monitor progress to ensure compliance with work plans, and maintain accurate daily field reports and safety records using construction management systems. Support all safety initiatives, assist with safety orientations, conduct observations and audits, and enforce quality control policies while escalating any concerns to senior field leadership. Actively participate in project meetings to enhance communication and coordination. Track production metrics, labor hours, and productivity for assigned scopes, reporting any variances. Assist with self-performance operations, workforce planning, and forecasting labor, materials, and equipment needs. Contribute to labor and material forecasting and support cost-of-work tracking as necessary, including procurement and logistical coordination. Establish and maintain trust with owners, trade contractors, unions, and field personnel through professional and consistent communication. Help onboard and train new team members. Oversee daily documentation and cost tracking in finance and construction management software. Assist in resolving jurisdictional disputes and field-level issues related to assigned scopes. Implement and advocate for sustainability and environmental compliance within your scopes. Qualifications Experience/Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management. 2-5 years of experience as a superintendent on construction projects; 5-8 years of overall construction experience preferred. OSHA 30 hour certified. Alternatively, a combination of education and experience may be considered. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent technical and communication skills. Strong labor relations experience with both union and non-union environments. Outstanding organizational capabilities. Effectiveness in a team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software. Thorough understanding of construction drawings and all phases of construction. Knowledge in various divisions of work, methods, materials, cost control, and scheduling.
