HCL Domino Server Administrator

Position Overview The DFA Network Team is actively seeking a skilled HCL Domino / Notes Administrator to join our team for a significant upgrade project. In this vital role, you will be responsible for upgrading production and development Domino servers from version 12 to 14.x within a Windows Server environment. Your contributions will include the implementation of Domino Leap and Domino Nomad, modernizing legacy applications, and integrating with existing IBM DB2 databases. This position demands strong hands-on administration experience along with expertise in infrastructure and security. Key Responsibilities Upgrade Domino servers from version 12.0.1 to 14.x Administer and support HCL Notes 12 and 14.5 environments Implement Domino Leap and Domino Nomad Modernize existing Domino applications Integrate Domino applications with IBM DB2 databases Support Windows Server 2019 infrastructure Manage server maintenance, patching, and upgrades Ensure smooth DB2/ODBC connectivity Apply security best practices including: VPN configuration Management of certificates and public keys Provide comprehensive documentation and knowledge transfer Mandatory Qualifications (Must Have) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems/Network Administration, or a related field 5+ years of experience in Domino administration and Notes support Proven track record with Domino version upgrades and patching 5+ years of network infrastructure experience 5+ years of Windows Server administration experience 5+ years of experience with DB2 / ODBC integration 5+ years of overall IT experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Required Technical Skill Levels Operating Systems Windows Server 2019 (Intermediate - Required) Domino / Notes Platforms Domino 12.0.1 (SME - Required) HCL Domino 14.5 (SME - Required) HCL Notes 12 (SME - Required) HCL Notes 14.5 (SME - Required) Database IBM DB2 11.1 (Intermediate - Preferred) Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Strong DB2/ODBC integration experience Experience in implementing security best practices Familiarity with VPN configuration and management Understanding of certificates and public key infrastructure (PKI) Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
