This role blends hands-on operational leadership with proactive account management to support Bedloft.com's high standards of service and campus partnership success. What You'll DoOperations Responsibilities Manage furniture and refrigerator rental programs at partner schools using established operational systems. Hire, train, and supervise local interns and labor teams. Coordinate with contracted labor groups at assigned campuses. Resolve customer service issues promptly and professionally. Operate a 26' box truck for product delivery and pickup (training provided; no CDL required). Account Management Responsibilities Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with university partners to ensure satisfaction and program success. Identify new opportunities within existing accounts to support growth. Maintain accurate account information using company CRM software. Support contract renewals and the expansion of partnerships with existing schools. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Translate broad directives into actionable plans and execute with minimal supervision. Lead with a "team-first" mindset; set standards for safety, quality, and professionalism. Uphold company values and represent Bedloft.com with integrity on and off campus. Hire, train, and manage operational staff as needed. Oversee shipping, receiving, and fleet vehicle scheduling and maintenance. Travel & Schedule Travel required to college campuses (more frequent in May, August, September; some weekends). Company-provided vehicle for work travel, plus travel guidelines and budget. Off-peak: remote/home-office work with standard 8-hour shifts. Peak seasons: expect longer weeks (often 60+ hours) to meet campus timelines. Who You Are An excellent communicator and relationship builder. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. A team player with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset. Physically able to assist with hands‑on operations during peak seasons. Comfortable working extended hours during peak periods (May, August) and traveling frequently. Independent, resourceful, and capable of turning broad direction into actionable plans. A valid driver's license is required. QualificationsRequired Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Personnel management and/or operations experience. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, CRM familiarity). Ability to work from a home office with reliable internet when not on campus. Willingness to travel and work extended hours during peak seasons. Preferred Experience managing interns, temporary labor, or field teams. Experience with university housing/auxiliary services (nice to have). Comfort operating/learning to operate a 26' box truck and forklift. Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $47,000 year Bonus: Performance-based bonus; commission potential tied to account growth.
