Advanced Technician Trainer

Job Description I. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Advanced Technician Trainer who will deliver, evaluate, and coach specialized training programs tailored to our organizational needs. You will conduct final performance ratings and coaching sessions while mentoring new Level 1 Driver Trainers. Additionally, you will lead Train-the-Trainer (TTT) sessions for new or updated courses at our Training Center. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Exemplify professional behavior at all times and effectively communicate behavioral expectations to trainees. Report training schedules, participant attendance, and evaluations to the Training Coordinator to maintain accurate records. Deliver training curricula demonstrating a firm grasp of the material using adult and accelerated learning techniques. Utilize observation and feedback to assess, coach, and enhance trainee performance during classroom and course exercises. Provide constructive feedback from classroom and course activities for final trainee evaluations, completing final evaluations and conducting closing coaching sessions. Ensure ongoing communication with Area field operations leadership regarding trainee performance and any concerns. Offer continuous mentorship and training to Trainer I's at the training center. Stay updated on training and company procedures through professional reading and interpretation of relevant journals and periodicals. Collaborate with fellow driver trainers and managers to discuss operational needs, participant issues, and training requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned. III. Qualifications A. Required Qualifications Associate's Degree (accredited) or a High School Diploma/GED with two years of relevant work experience. At least one year of driving experience in the trucking industry. Minimum one year of training experience, in addition to the educational requirement. B. Preferred Qualifications IV. Work Environment This position primarily operates in a professional office environment and frequently utilizes standard office equipment such as computers and copy machines. V.
