Job Summary and Key Responsibilities As a Registered Respiratory Care Specialist, you will coordinate and provide exceptional, patient-centered respiratory care following departmental standards and practices. You'll conduct various diagnostic tests and therapies while closely monitoring patients receiving both invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation. Your Duties Will Include: Performing patient assessments, including evaluating breath sounds and airway patency. Administering respiratory therapies such as oxygen delivery and chest physiotherapy. Assisting in the placement of artificial airways and managing mechanical ventilation. Monitoring therapeutic responses and taking necessary actions during unexpected patient reactions. Supporting the transportation of patients needing ventilation assistance. Responding effectively during emergencies to ensure adequate airway management. Qualifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire. Hold a Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner license or have an Associate Degree/Vocational School training. National Board for Respiratory Care Certified Respiratory Therapist credential.
