This is an on‑site role with fieldwork across northern New Jersey counties, offering both independence and teamwork through collaboration with another RT and leadership.Why This Respiratory Therapist Role Is DifferentThis role offers a blend of teamwork and autonomy in a two‑RT structure. You will oversee your territory independently while benefiting from a supportive and coordinated clinical environment. The position includes exposure to a variety of care settings, creating a dynamic and fulfilling clinical experience.Schedule Standard Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Flexible depending on patient and facility needs. On-call every other week. Travel Expectations Covers Sussex, Passaic, and Essex Counties. Local travel across northern New Jersey. Includes home visits, clinic setups, and hospital support. Salary Structure Salary Range: $37–$45 per hour. Reimbursements: $0.70/mile, parking, tolls. What You’ll Do Perform setups, troubleshooting, and education on CPAP, BiPAP, vents, and oxygen. Conduct home visits and provide follow-up patient care. Deliver empathetic patient support and equipment training. Maintain accurate documentation and compliance. Required Qualifications Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active New Jersey RT License. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Strong communication and service mindset.
