Join Planate Management Group (PMG), a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business dedicated to providing exceptional program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. We are currently seeking a skilled Structural Quality Assurance Inspector to support the CBP Office of Facilities and Asset Management (OFAM) with AE Advisory Services and Construction Management Support (CMS). In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects, renovations, and infrastructure improvements while meeting federal standards. This position is contingent upon the award of the contract. The total period of performance for this project is five (5) years, including one (1) base year and four (4) one (1) year option periods. Key Responsibilities: Oversee new facility construction, renovations, and alterations to ensure quality and compliance. Coordinate site infrastructure improvements such as roadways, drainage, and utilities. Provide advisory support in civil engineering disciplines, focusing on design submission reviews. Manage project milestones, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance effectively. Conduct investigative services, surveys, and geotechnical studies as needed. Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and contract-related documents diligently. Assist in cost estimating, project scheduling, and value engineering analysis. Qualifications for Success: Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering or 10 years of equivalent construction experience in lieu of a degree. A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil/structural engineering design or construction quality assurance oversight or project management. Experience with federal construction projects and knowledge of FAR/DFAR is an advantage. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, MS Project, or similar engineering/project management software is a plus. Ability to pass an extensive background check and obtain DHS security clearance for Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Card. Flexibility to work on a shifting schedule to provide coverage for construction work along the US Borders, including locations such as TX, MI, Washington State, NY, CA, and NM.
