AI Cloud Platform Engineer

Title: AI Cloud Platform Engineer Location: Titusville, NJ (prefer a local candidate who can come on-site from time to time - Will consider fully remote but they will need to be very strong for full remote - VERY STRONG) Duration: Initially through the end of 2024 Required Skills: Candidate must have real experience with creating platforms for AI applications. This is not an invitation to empty your DevOps bench and any candidate with Docker DevOps/Platform Engineering/SRE background with AI (preferably Generative AI (GenAI)) and/or Machine Learning Applications is required. Could be someone supporting Data Science applications teams as well was they'd have similar ML or AI applications. Docker Responsibilities: Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of our AI infrastructure supporting our machine learning life cycle, including data ingestion, training, evaluation, and deployment. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to understand their infrastructure needs and ensure our AI systems and products are robust, scalable, and efficient. Oversee code quality through comprehensive reviews and testing. Address and troubleshoot complex issues, ensuring smooth and efficient software performance. Design and implement user interfaces with a focus on usability and aesthetics. Develop and optimize frontend features and delightful user experiences. Stay updated with the latest technology trends and suggest improvements to existing systems and processes. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 5-7+ years of experience in Cloud DevOps, Platform Engineer or SRE role including 2+ years supporting multi-cloud environments. 3+ years' experience creating Docker containers. Advanced understanding of engineering, solution design, and infrastructure practices and approaches. Proficiency with LLMs and/or related AI, NLP, UGC/content topics including deep learning, information retrieval, or knowledge extraction (e.g., BERT, LaMDA, GPT-2/3/4, LLaMA, PyTorch, TensorFlow, neo4j). Practical experience creating platforms for applications which are using Open AI's GPT and an understanding of the various versions of GPTs (and other models) and Open AI's APIs would be highly desired. Proven experience in creating, deploying, managing, and scaling AI models and data products in production. Version Control Systems: Proficiency source control tools and processes like Git, GitHub, DevOps, GitOps, CI/CD CI/CD and Automation Tools: Experience in continuous integration and development using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or Travis CI Demonstrated experience in handling large datasets Familiarity with source control tools and process (e.g., GitHub, DevOps, GitOps, CI/CD) Ability to prioritize across multiple projects and business needs Experience mentoring and teaching others Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Nice To Have: Experiencing with building and fine-tuning generative AI models Experience with other data science tools in our stack such as Databricks, Posit, R, Shiny
