Keep our customers informed with real-time updates while managing accurate shipping data in our systems. What You'll Do: Plan and execute barge and boat schedules within assigned river segments. Identify and assess short-term power needs in your designated area. Provide daily forecasts and validate operational plans to the area planner. Offer guidance to newer dispatching team members regarding river segment activities. Monitor barge status, days in status, and tow slot utilization in your segment. Coordinate vendor activities to enhance fleet speed and optimize barge capacity. Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations. Initiate process improvements to exceed customer expectations. Perform all other duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For: High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license. 3-5 years of experience in a logistics or transportation environment. Strong skills in dispatching, logistics, or fleet planning. Preferred Qualifications: B.S. degree in Business Administration with a focus on transportation or logistics.
