Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 03/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Rad Tech - Rad Tech Job Details: Work 8 or 12-hour shifts Monday through Sunday with variable start times Day shift options: 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, and 11:30 AM Night shifts: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (primarily weekend coverage) Weekend shifts: Saturday/Sunday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (8-hour) and 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (12-hour) Call requirements: 1-2 weekdays per week after shift (3:30 PM/4:00 PM to 7:00 AM) Every third weekend call coverage with 8.5-15.5 hours average call time 20-30 minute call response time required Holiday coverage as needed Cover inpatient, outpatient, operating room, and emergency department areas Perform imaging for pediatric through geriatric patients Handle 70-80 scans per day plus 5-15 OR cases daily Must have C-arm experience and be skilled with portable and fluoroscopy equipment Work with variety of equipment including OEC c-arms, Metronics o-arm, Fuji general, portable Fuji, and Siemens fluoro Use EPIC "Citrix" EMR system 1.5-2 weeks orientation including clinical and EPIC training Scrubs provided by facility Required certifications: ARRT and BLS North Dakota state license required Facility: This acute care medical center features a comprehensive radiology department with 7 treatment areas and maintains Level 2 trauma designation. The facility provides full-service imaging capabilities with radiologists on-site Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with teleradiology coverage after hours. The department emphasizes a family-oriented team environment and offers extensive imaging services including busy operating room support, high-volume emergency department coverage, and fluoroscopy procedures across all patient populations.
