About this position The occupational therapist evaluates, establishes treatment programs and provides individualized compassionate care to customers. The goal of care is to prevent, correct, or alleviate disability, as well as to educate the customer/family about their role in the plan of care. The occupational therapist functions is a part of the interdisciplinary treatment team, and collaborates with other caregivers with the goal of providing high quality customer care. The occupational therapist also participates in department decision-making, improvement activities, and projects designed to improve customer care standards in the department. RequirementsEducation Baccalaureate or Master's degree from an AOTA accredited school of occupational therapy. Experience Experience in one of the clinical areas essential - may be from fieldwork experiences Demonstrated verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
