A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed to provide comprehensive support to middle school students. This contract position offers full-time hours, working 7.5 hours per day, with a caseload of approximately 60 students. The role is based in Houston, TX, and requires an immediate start date. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for middle school students. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that address students' communication needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations. Provide teletherapy services as needed to ensure continuity of care. Assist with caseload management and participate in team meetings. Desired Skills and Experience: Current certification as an SLP or SLPA, with experience working in school settings. Familiarity with working with middle school-aged children. Ability to manage a caseload of up to 60 students effectively. Experience with teletherapy platforms is a plus.
