Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy sessions emphasizing communication, language development, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing restoration. Engage collaboratively with physical and occupational therapy teams, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and family members to formulate a unified approach to patient care. Facilitate education for patients and their families to uphold therapeutic progress beyond clinical visits. Support occasional inpatient assessments and therapy interventions to ensure a seamless patient experience throughout their recovery journey. Uphold meticulous documentation as per legal, regulatory, and institutional standards. Stay abreast of new developments in the field through education and collaborative learning opportunities. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Therapist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be attained within 30 days of hire. Skills Expertise in evidence-based practices suitable for patients of all ages, with a solid grasp of both developmental and acquired disorders of speech, language, and swallowing. Strong communication skills for effective interactions with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Flexibility to tailor therapy methods to resonate with varying cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Sharp clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
