Industry Government Administration Type Government Agency Employees 1001-5000About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our Finance Department and oversee the City's financial operations. With a budget of approximately $557 million, the CFO will play a crucial role in enhancing transparency, guiding long-term fiscal strategies, and ensuring financial excellence and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and relationship-oriented financial leader with a deep comprehension of municipal finance, an enthusiasm for public service, and a proven history in governmental budgeting, financial reporting, and strategic planning. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a CPA license are required, along with a minimum of 10 years of municipal finance experience, including at least 5 years in an executive role overseeing large budgets. We prefer candidates with a Master's degree, CPFO certification, and experience in large-scale ERP implementations and municipal debt management. The CFO will collaborate closely with the City Manager, Mayor, City Council, and various boards and partner entities.
