As the Submarine Program Analyst, you'll provide essential programmatic support to our NAVSEA customers, playing a vital role in the acquisition of submarines. Our Team Submarine initiative advocates for cohesive operations among various submarine-related activities, aiming to streamline processes and enhance the overall efficiency in submarine research, development, acquisition, and maintenance. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Reviewing presentations, briefs, and formal correspondence for NAVSEA review and final approval. Maintaining relevant Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) as needed. Collaborating with stakeholders to identify, assign, and track action items that enhance submarine sustainment support. Gathering information and providing well-documented recommendations to senior decision-makers. Communicating effectively with Program Office representatives from the UK, NAVSEA, and various Navy organizations to address program concerns. Coordinating with technical teams to develop white papers and presentations regarding program status or issues. Offering Subject Matter Expert (SME) support, including analyses, inquiries, research, testing, and data validation pertaining to US/UK submarines. Analyzing metrics for program-related issues such as delays and availability concerns. Administering meetings, generating agendas, minutes, and action items, particularly for Design Support Working Group (DSWG) sessions with US/UK stakeholders. Liaising with TRIDENT Refit Facilities (TRFs) to assist in the maintenance and repair of Common Missile Compartment components. Assisting in resolving TDENTs, LARs, and other program requests. Advising on PPBE issues related to SSBN modernization. Organizing and managing program tracking files and tools on status and action items. Supporting the team with additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Attending meetings and program reviews, providing presentations and written materials to foreign representatives and liaison officers at US Navy or contractor facilities. Delivering prompt and effective responses for all urgent tasks. Ensuring all program correspondence and deliverables meet Serco's quality standards. To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need: An active or current DoD Secret clearance. US Citizenship. A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. Consideration of an Associate's Degree plus 2 years of additional experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. A minimum of 8 years of experience, preferably with Navy acquisition and/or In-Service Programs. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in drafting program impact statements and Congressional appeals. Proven ability to lead projects and interface with end customers. Willingness to travel at least 10% of the time. Additional Desired Experience: Active-duty experience as a former Missile Technician in submarine service (SSBN) is a plus. Recent involvement with Team Submarine and/or SSP is highly valued.
