Our mission is to prevent type 2 diabetes at scale by helping patients adopt sustainable lifestyle changes before disease progression. Role Overview Fruit Street is seeking emergency medicine physicians that are passionate about public health and prevention to join our Advisory Board. Advisors provide clinical perspective to ensure our diabetes prevention program aligns with real-world primary care workflows, patient engagement best practices, and evidence-based standards. Core Responsibilities • Provide guidance on diabetes prevention protocols and patient engagement • Advise on integration with primary care practices and referral workflows • Offer perspective on Medicare and preventive care delivery • Support program credibility and clinical best practices Ideal Qualifications • Board-certified emergency medicine physicians that are passionate about public health and prevention • Experience managing patients at risk for chronic disease • Interest in preventive care and digital health innovation Benefits of Being on the Advisory Board We are ideally looking for physicians to join our advisory board who are both willing to participate as an advisor and would consider investing $25K+ as an angel investor. Advisors can earn sweat equity for 1-2 hours per month of advisory board participation. Advisors also commonly invest $25K+ as an angel investor and can use an IRA/401K to invest to purchase preferred stock in the comapny.
