Neonatologist Opening in Wichita, KS Deatils FT, permanent position Join an established, reputable 8-physician Neonatology practice 60-bed Level III NICU with 6,000 deliveries per year Strong QI, teaching, and research opportunities available Opportunity for new fellowship graduates (must be BC in Pediatrics) Sponsorship for J1 and H1B visa candidates Assignment Details Start Date: ASAP (2025 fellows welcome if requirements met) Schedule: Mix of 8-hour and 24-hour shifts on a 7-week rotating schedule Workload: 170 in-house hours/month for 1.0 FTE Call: In-house call with backup from home (weekends included) Volume: 1,000 admissions annually; ADC 54 Services: Full scope except ECMO and heart surgery Support: Residents and NNPs Requirements Board Certified in Pediatrics Äì Required Board Eligible (within 5 years of fellowship) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Äì Required Fellowship-trained in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (completed prior to start) Äì Required KS License (or willing to obtain) Äì Required DEA license (must be obtained prior to start) Äì Required Clean malpractice and license history Äì Highly preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary range (based on training/experience; discussed at interview) Relocation assistance, if applicable Health, dental, vision, life insurance Short- and long-term disability Professional liability insurance License/credentialing support and payment CME, advanced education, leadership development Employee stock purchase program (15% discount) 401k with company match LTC, HSA, FSA options Aflac supplemental plans Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Submission Requirements Board Certified Pediatrics BC/BE Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine KS License (or willing to obtain) Fellowship-trained in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine DEA license (or willing to obtain) Clean malpractice/license history preferred OnCall: In-house + backup from home (weekends included) Weekend Description: In-house + backup from home Certifications: BC Pediatrics + BC/BE Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, DEA
