Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

OB/GYN Physician (New Graduates Accepted) - Goodyear, AZ Job Type: Full-Time Shifts: Mon - Fri (Days) Job Description: The OB/GYN Physician is primarily responsible for providing comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological health care services through the identification, management and/or referral of the health problems and maintenance of women's health by means of obstetrical care, gynecological care, preventive care, and health promotion. Roles and Responsibilities: • Performing a wide range of tests, including pap smears, pelvic, and breast exams. • Diagnosing and prescribing treatments for disorders and diseases. • Conducting routine check-ups on patients. • Monitoring and treating expectant mothers during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. • Recording medical histories. Qualification/Experience: • Graduate of an accredited medical school program, Doctor of medicine (MD) • Completion of an accredited United States Obstetrical/Gynecological Residency program • Board certified or Board Eligible • 2-3 years of OB/Gyn experience is required • New Graduates are also accepted Licenses/Certifications: • Valid State Arizona Medical License • Valid DEA certificate
