APP - Trauma Surgery OpportunityLocation: Midland, MichiganFull-time, night shift position with a 7-on/7-off schedule (6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.)100% inpatient coverage of surgical specialties throughout the hospitalNo outpatient callsTeam-based approach working alongside another nighttime APPResponsibilities:Respond to all trauma activationsPerform admissions and consults for trauma, general surgery, and urology servicesAssist with admissions for colorectal, thoracic, and orthopedic surgery as neededFirst call for inpatient surgical specialties nursing questionsPerform bedside procedures including chest tubes, central lines, arterial lines, and lration repairCo-manage ICU/critical care patientsCertifications & Licensure:AHA-approved BLS and ACLS certificationsATLS certification required prior to completion of orientationEducation & Experience:Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant programOne year of experience with surgical specialties preferred; new graduates consideredAdditional Information:Employment contingent on successful credentialingRobust onboarding and training program provided by Jobble
