Quality Control Data Entry Specialist (EM/Microbiology) Contract: 6 months Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Location: Onsite – Concord, NC Position Summary We are seeking two Quality Control Data Entry Specialists to support a short-term data backlog during a critical transition period. These roles will focus primarily on Environmental Monitoring (EM) and Microbiology data entry, supporting the transition of testing activities from a third-party vendor to internal QC testing teams. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role ideal for candidates with prior exposure to EM or Microbiology environments who can quickly integrate into a GMP setting and provide immediate impact. Key Responsibilities • Perform accurate and timely data entry for EM and Microbiology testing activities • Support backlog reduction related to historical and ongoing QC data • Enter, verify, and reconcile data within applicable QC systems (e.g., LIMS, spreadsheets, databases) • Partner with EM and Microbiology testing teams during the transition of testing activities in-house • Ensure data integrity and compliance with cGMP and internal quality standards • Assist with documentation accuracy, record completeness, and audit readiness • Escalate data discrepancies or issues to QC leadership as needed Required Qualifications • Prior experience or familiarity with Environmental Monitoring (EM) and/or Microbiology within a GMP environment • Experience performing QC data entry or working with quality records • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy • Ability to work onsite on a standard weekday schedule (M–F, 8–5) • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing or laboratory environment • Ability to start quickly and adapt to evolving priorities Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting EM programs in parenteral or aseptic manufacturing environments • Familiarity with LIMS or electronic quality systems • Prior experience supporting QC testing transitions or vendor-to-internal workflows • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical discipline Additional Notes • This is a 6-month contract role with a defined scope focused on data backlog reduction and transition support
