Your Opportunity We are actively seeking an Engineering Lead for the Sector Advanced Forward Engineering team. In this role, you will design and operate an advanced AI Native development environment and toolchain, facilitating project management, product management, architecture, and engineering for the Office of the CTO (OCTO). You will play a pivotal role in leading lab administration and automation. Take ownership of an environment that drives product development success across EY Americas. This position demands a deep technical understanding of modern development techniques and AI model technology. Collaboration with global resources in the CTO and ET teams will be essential, coupled with hands-on execution. Key Responsibilities Define and implement a modern AI Native IDE with development environments for creating demos, prototypes, and full product/platform development. Evaluate and select software applications for the development toolchain across all OCTO pillars. Coordinate the OCTO development environment with Americas Industry Group and Service Lines. Establish a fully automated lab environment, ensuring access across multiple groups, tracking usage, and maintaining lab continuity and currency. Set up cloud access to Neo Clouds and Hyperscale clouds while managing user permissions. Plan and manage the budget to keep the environment modern and up to date. Develop strategies to assist developer groups and affiliated agents. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in development support, with a proven track record of managing large-scale labs and development environments. Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science. Experience with AI agents and modern AI-driven automation. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, system design, and modern tech stacks (APIs, cloud platforms, data pipelines). Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership. Strong analytical skills to leverage data for cost-efficient development. Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tools. Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and align on product priorities. A passion for innovation and a solid understanding of market trends in AI and technology. Preferred Qualifications Experience in AI/ML, LLMs, and agentic strategies, along with knowledge of SaaS and product management tools such as ADO, JIRA, or Trello. Familiarity with product management frameworks such as JTBD, RICE, OKRs, Kanban, and Shape Up.
