Tail) Health/Dental/Vision Retirement (403b) Practice Opportunity Highlights: Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led 650+ provider multispecialty group seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to work within the neurosurgery practice of Mulvaney Neurosurgery in Boise, Idaho. The APP will work closely with our neurosurgeons to provide top quality complex neurosurgery care in the OR, inpatient, and outpatient setting. The patient care includes outpatient office visits, assisting with surgical cases, management of patients post operatively, and supporting Neurosurgeon when on Trauma call in an inpatient setting. The APP will collaborate with the neurosurgeons for clinical management of neurosurgery patients through utilization of approved protocols and procedures as well as appropriate medical consultation, provide direction and education to nursing and other staff personnel regarding patient management issues and provide daily contact with patients, family members, visitors, employees, medical staff, volunteer, and students throughout the continuum of neurosurgical care. Saint Alphonsus, Boise is the principal provider of advanced, innovative, and interdisciplinary neurological services, including a TSE designated Comprehensive Stroke Center, the region's only Level II Trauma Center, a NASB designated MDT Skull Base team of excellence, and the first in the State of ID to have Neuro critical care by Neuro Intensivist Fellowship trained MDs. Saint Alphonsus Neuroscience Institute promotes collaboration with a team of strong inpatient & outpatient neurologists, vascular neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, vascular neurologists, neuropathologists, neuro-otolaryngologists physiatrists, neuro-ophthalmologist and oncologists. Neurosurgeons will provide care for patients with complex neurovascular conditions, complex spine conditions, spine and brain trauma, a variety of general and complex neurosurgical conditions. Support: Saint Alphonsus has a mature collaborative trauma team that supports neurosurgery colleagues. There is a well-established comprehensive interventional neuroradiology service. Work in conjunction with medical and radiation oncologists and the Novalis Stereotactic Radiosurgery suite. Support for the practice is bolstered by a full complement of specialists including hospitalists and neuro intensivists. Saint Alphonsus Health System is unifying its EMR to EPIC Care Everywhere in both inpatient and outpatient setting. Neurosciences is supported by a newly dedicated Neuro and Trauma Intensive Care Unit. Requirements: Successful completion of NP or PA Graduate Program (Masters Level) Current license in Idaho Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
