Use computer skills and computer-related equipment to diagnose problems with production equipmentMaintain and troubleshoot combustion equipment including gas trains, automatic control valves, and other gas-fired equipmentUnderstand, maintain, and repair process control loopsDetermine if production equipment needs to be repaired or services; coordinate machine downtime and repairs with production managementTake an active role in the requisitioning of parts/materials necessary for the continued operation of the plantPerform preventative maintenance routines as scheduled and as neededCommunicate maintenance issues with other shifts to ensure continuity of operation. Read and record comments in both Maintenance and Production logbooksEnsure housekeeping in the Maintenance Department is maintained to a safe level and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc. are properly stored at all times, as well as before leaving such area for breaks, meal times, and end of the shift.
