Avionics Technician

Job Title: Avionics Technician Job Description We are seeking skilled Avionics Technicians to join our team at a large MRO facility in Bridgeport, WV. This facility serves as a central Service Center for CRJ 200, 400, 700, and 900 series aircraft, offering exciting opportunities to work on heavy avionics installations, troubleshooting, wire harness fabrication, and modification. Responsibilities + Perform heavy avionics work on aircraft, including installation, troubleshooting, wire harness fabrication, and modification. + Work under time constraints in a fast-paced environment with specific timeframes to complete tasks. + Support heavy C/D checks on CRJ aircraft for regional airlines. + Communicate aircraft maintenance actions effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Essential Skills + Minimum of 2 years of work experience with corporate or commercial aircraft. + FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) or Airframe (A) License preferred. + GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certification preferred. + Certification from Avionics, Electric A/C Technical school or equivalent military training preferred. + Ability to effectively communicate in English. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Military aircraft maintenance experience (Depot/Isochronal/Phase inspections) is a plus. + Must possess own tools. Why Work Here? Fall protection training is provided, ensuring safety in all tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Bridgeport, West Virginia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
