Offering an unmatched, 360-degree solution set for a collection of world-class owned venues and a client roster that includes the most influential, highest attended arenas, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions on the planet.The Account Executive position at our UMass Amherst property would manage the sales and servicing of season tickets, partial season tickets, mini-plans, group tickets, and individual tickets for the Minutemen athletics department.This role pays an annual salary of $45,000-$50,000 and is bonus eligibleBenefits for Full-Time roles: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching, and Paid Time Off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays)This position will remain open until November 14, 2025.TheWilliam D. Mullins Memorial Center, also known as theMullins Center, is a 9,493-seat multi-purpose arena (10,500 for 360 concerts), located on the campus of theUniversity of Massachusetts, inAmherst, Massachusetts. The Mullins Center is the home ofUMass Minutemenmen's basketball, women's basketball, andmen's ice hockey. In addition, the venue hosts numerous concerts, family shows, theater shows, and commencements annually.Maximize revenue through the sale of ticket packages including season tickets, partial plans, group tickets, and individual game ticketsEstablish professional relationships to repeat business and superior customer serviceUse proactive tactics to create opportunities for new business with existing customersUse cold calling, appointments, and social selling as tools to sell season, group, and partial ticket plan packagesCall past customers and new customers to generate ticket salesConduct inside and outside appointments to gain business with new and existing customers while maintaining high call volumeParticipate in outside networking events to gain additional business & develop relationships with new leadsHandle incoming sales calls from prospective clients for all ticket packagesMeet or exceed appointed sales goals for all ticket packagesMaintain and complete accurate records for customersStaff all home games to assist ticket sales promotional programsMulti-task between handling large call volume and servicing customersAbility to handle heavy call volume, both outbound and inboundAbility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated with event schedulesOther duties as assigned3-5 years of related exprienceBachelor’s Degree from accredited college/university in a related field requiredFamiliarity with Paciolan and Salesforce.com (CRM) preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook is requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language requiredDemonstrated ability to manage numerous business relationships in a professional mannerSuperior time management skills and presentation skillsMust possess attention to detail, organization, and ability to listenMust be professionally aggressive, competitive, and possess a dedicated attitudeMust be highly motivated and positive with strong aspirations to be successfulAbility to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed, in addition to traditional business hoursAt OVG, we understand that to continue positively disrupting the sports and live entertainment industry, we need a diverse team to help us do it.
