Mobile Equipment Mechanic

To maintain and repair the mobile equipment on site. Maintain and further develop mechanical PM program.Provide support for all mobile equipment (forklifts, yard trucks, trailers and other items with maintenance requirements.Inspect, diagnose, repair and adjust equipment.Resolve repair issues regarding equipment repairs and maintenance.Develop and maintain current mechancial PM schedule for all equipment.Work with forklift service companies to assure they are providing the services requested and confirm the repairs are completed.Excellent safety and attendance recordUnderstand mechanical systemsRead electrical schematicsSelf-motivatedPositive attitudeAttention to detail and precisionTrouble shooting and critical thinkingExcellent communication and organizational skillsAble to pass mechanical testSteel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
