Location: Village Professional, 15340 Jog Rd STE 100, Delray Beach, FL 33446Reports to: Partner DoctorsWe are seeking an experienced Director of Operations (8-10 years of leadership experience preferred) to oversee the daily operations and strategic growth of Advanced Dentistry of South Florida, one of Delray Beach’s premier, technology-driven, upscale dental practices.Since 1982, our philosophy has been simple: treat every patient as if they were family. Our team of general dentists, specialists, and hygienists work together to provide comprehensive care, offering services in:General & Cosmetic DentistryEndodonticsOral & Maxillofacial SurgeryPeriodontics & Implant DentistryInvisalign® & Advanced Orthodontic SolutionsSedation DentistryEmergency Dental ServicesThe Director of Operations will lead the practice in achieving operational excellence, managing a team of over 10 providers, clinical staff, and ensuring our reputation as a premier dental destination for the South Florida community.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipOversee day-to-day operations including scheduling, patient flow, billing, and insurance coordination.Manage HR functions: hiring, credentialing, compliance, staff training, and performance management.Support and coordinate across general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, periodontics, and hygiene.Lead technology adoption to streamline workflows and improve patient care.Patient ExperienceEnsure five-star patient experiences across all services — from emergency visits to cosmetic enhancements.Monitor and improve scheduling systems, call performance, and reappointment processes.Oversee online reviews, reputation management, and patient engagement initiatives.Financial & ComplianceTrack budgets, KPIs, and financial performance; implement strategies to meet growth and collection targets.Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and state/federal regulations.Oversee insurance processing, billing accuracy, and collections.Marketing & Community EngagementLead community outreach and marketing initiatives, building relationships with local organizations, businesses, and referral partners.Oversee promotional products, sponsorships, and practice branding campaigns.Manage social media presence, digital marketing platforms, and internal patient engagement programs.Qualifications8-10 years of leadership experience in healthcare/dental operations.Proven track record managing high-volume practices with multiple providers.Strong financial and business acumen.Marketing and community engagement experience preferred.Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Proficiency with practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.What We OfferCompetitive salary with performance bonuses.Health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k)Paid time off and holidays.The opportunity to lead in a prestigious, innovative practice serving South Florida since 1982. #LI-SM1This unique individual will oversee the daily operations of the dental office by managing employee relations, patient relations, and achieving operational goals. They will also be responsible for office profit & loss by managing patient scheduling, staff productivity, collections and receivables, and miscellaneous operations expenses. Additional responsibilities include stimulating new patient growth by supporting sales, marketing and promotional programs. Administrative tasks such as financial report review, bank deposits, revenue posting, and staff payroll and bonus are a part of the operational responsibilities.Achieves revenue goals by effectively managing patient scheduling, staff productivity, collections and receivables, specialty referral process, and miscellaneous operations expenses.Manages office within budget guidelines to include clerical and auxiliary supply purchases, equipment upgrades, labs and labor costs.Increases and stimulates new patient growth by supporting sales, marketing and promotional programs.Recruits, hires and develops office teams capable of providing best in class patient care.Directly supervises office teams and proactively manages their performance and development including but not limited to performance feedback, appraisals, and corrective actions.Communicates with office teams regularly to ensure they have the information, tools, and support needed to perform their jobs effectively and successfully.Completes administrative tasks, such as flash report review, bank deposits, revenue posting, staff payroll and bonus, accounts receivable reports and invoice processing correctly and within deadline.Maintains patient data to include required regulatory chart documents, personal information, treatment consultation documentation, account history transactions and electronic QSI data.Manages and assists designated office team members with appropriate payment and insurance processes.Maintains facilities and equipment cleanliness and safety and reports and/or corrects hazards when necessary in compliance with all state and federal regulations, including OSHA.Ensures flawless execution of operational standards, including compliance with established company policies, procedures, and government regulations.Responds to doctor, patient and employee grievances, complaints, and inquiries and seeks assistance when necessary.Continually works towards building and sustaining a joined leadership work environment with doctors.Performs other duties as assigned.Desired Skills:2 years' of experience managing a dental officeStrong background in billing and insuranceMust have prior management experienceHigh school diploma or GED; Associates Degree (AA) from a two or four-year collegeAdditional benefits for full-time employees: MedicalDental servicesLife insuranceVisionPaid time off6 paid holidays off401k to name a few
