For those looking to make a difference and find a professional home, Wipfli offers a career-defining opportunity.Job Summary:Under the direction of a Senior Consultant or Manager, the Consultant II will develop and implement solutions for clients that are either consultative or technical in nature that provide improvements to the client’s business processes and information technology. They will be self-managed for short periods and interface regularly with clients and others outside of Wipfli.Essential Responsibilities:Links the client requirements to standard solutions and service offerings with guidance from senior team members.Oversee smaller segments of work assigned by project managers or other senior team members.Thoroughly documents work with clear explanations to illustrate understanding of concepts.Informs project team leaders of cost, quality and schedule risks related to the scope of their portion of the engagement.Monitors own time and budget on projects and communicates overages and availability in advance.Keeps current on technical and functional issues and attempts to apply them to client circumstances.Mentors Consultant I’s in their development into Consultant II’s.Supports the sales process by being aware of sales opportunities for add-ons and escalating Information when needed to determine scope of services to aid in solving client needs.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.5+ years of work experience in a professional services firm or 5+ years of private industry experience focused on appropriate technical area.Works toward obtaining additional appropriate certifications.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in related fieldTraining, support or consulting advisory experienceExperience with compliance or professional standards associated with area of expertise.Experience with Microsoft Server and Active DirectoryFoundational knowledge and experience of Azure and Azure Active DirectoryExperience troubleshooting Local networksExperience managing clients, client expectations, and client escalations successfullyBenjamin Dzanic, from our recruiting team, will be guiding you through this process.
