Director of Internal CommunicationsFounded in 1997, Think Together partners with schools to change the odds for kids by providing award-winning programs during and outside the school day. Whether you’re interested in early learning, elementary, middle or high school, you can invest in your community by working at a local school or working within our home office providing support!Opportunity:The Director of Internal Communications is responsible for the strategies, programs and tactics to inform, appreciate and engage the staff of Think Together. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Create strategy and frameworks for how Think Together shares and cascades information while driving workflow, efficiencies, and information-sharing Provide stratetic and creative direction, lead programs, campaigns and messaging to communicate with Think Together 4000+ employees including frontline site staff plus nine regional and home offices across CaliforniaInterface with senior leadership to strategize, craft and implement organization-wide communications plans, including aligning messaging goals with cross-functional teams Oversee the development of an intranet portal/app and evaluate existing technology to recommend solutions that improve communications Maintain reoccurring internal communications tactics, including newsletter, video messaging, social media, intranet sites, etc, with fresh, engaging content and ideas that meet objectivesDefine goals and metrics for the successful execution of the internal communications strategy; provide regular reporting of KPIs to key leaders Contribute to the cross-functional strategy and execution of initiatives that support culture, increase employee engagement, and inspire staffCoach and empower the organization’s leaders to be strong internal communicators; including, including determining content, channel, and developing talking pointsDevelop deep understanding of internal stakeholders and the most effective ways to inspire and mobilize them to actionActively execute communications strategies and tactics that meet the organization’s diversity, equity and inclusion goalsCollaborate with Director of Communications to ensure cohesive messaging inside and outside of Think TogetherAs part of the marketing and communications team, work to ensure that synergies are identified and maximized between internal and external communications, campaigns and messagesQualifications8-10+ years of experience working in corporate or internal communications, employee experience, and or employer branding, preferably in a high-growth environmentA track record of culture leadership in a large organization and partnering with C-Suite and senior leadersAbility to work collaboratively across teams; empathetic and understanding of the needs of a diverse audience Entrepreneurial, hands-on style, with an eye toward action and improvementThorough knowledge and experience in the development of strategic communication strategies and evaluation techniquesAbility to balance competing priorities in a rapidly changing environmentAdditional InformationPosition is based in Santa Ana; can be remote, hybrid or in-office. Will be required to attend periodic in-office meetings. Will be required to occasionally travel to regional offices and school sites, primarily in Southern CaliforniaWriting and campaign samples will be requestedMust pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting)Satisfactory Tuberculosis TestComputer and Equipment Skills:Word ProcessingEmail management toolsInternet and social mediaSharePoint, Teams and other MS Office toolsUse of typical office equipmentCOMPENSATION: Salary Range $100K-$110KThis is the targeted compensation for the position. A range of factors, including but not limited to; location, skills, experience, will be considered.
