Howyou will contribute: This is a great opportunity to perfect your salesskills by identifying new business opportunities and establishing newaccounts, selling profitable work, and developing new customer bases onnew construction and service contracts. You will develop sales plans andobjectives regarding new work, contract negotiation, claims resolution,and future work potential. This position also serves as the team projectleader during work acquisition and project execution while utilizingsales tools to plan and document progress as well as increase businessopportunity in accounts. What you need to qualify: Ahern will make themost of your previous fire protection service or similar service-relatedexperience. Prior experience in sales, the level of which is likelyattained with 2 or more years of related experience is preferred.Successful candidates will have demonstrated excellence in customerservice, organization, and communication skills. You can stand out aboveother candidates by demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced,deadline driven work environment. Demonstrating scholastic aptitude orformal education in engineering, fluid dynamics, or related technicaldisciplines if preferred, as well as the ability to learn and applywater flow calculations and design principles for sprinkler systems.Being a self-starter and possessing the ability to work independentlywill be essential.
