Our team of experienced professionals tailors all treatment to each unique individual through a variety of personalized care elements, which may include group, individual, and family therapies.Your Job as a Recreation Therapist:The Recreation Therapist plans, coordinates and directs patient participation in selected activities, with the Sonora Behavioral Health Hospital setting. Provides treatment services and recreational therapy services using a variety techniques such as games, social activities, art, crafts, dance and movement, drama, sports and music to create an atmosphere of sociability.Your Skills and Qualifications as a Recreation Therapist:Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Rec Therapy, or related field requiredMaster's degree preferred3+ years experience in recreation in a healthcare setting requiredLicenses/Certifications:CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist)Schedule:This position is for weekend shifts with varying hours based on the needs of the facility, allowing you to enjoy a great work/life balance.
