JOB RESPONSIBILITIESFabricate prototype parts by programming & operating a Routech Accord 20 FX 5-axis CNC with a Xilog Plus Operator Interface (work piece geometry programming, automatic execution of a program, subprograms, DXF files import, machining optimizer, multi-tool equipment management, dynamic control of accelerations)Set up & Program CNC equipment using CAD/CAM softwareOptimize CNC tooling feeds and speeds with various materials.Work effectively as a team member and manage multiple priorities independentlyCommunicate progress on assigned work to achieve required timelinesMaintain an organized and clean work environmentFollow required safety, ergonomic, and environmental proceduresBuild part clamping fixtures using appropriate materials and toolsConduct quality checks to confirm the accuracy of the work completedOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSTechnical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in CNC Programming and MachiningCNC programming ability for Routech Accord 20 FX 5-axis CNC control system & MasterCAMKnowledgeable with fixture and tool designAdvanced blueprint reading capabilitiesProficient with the selection of tooling for a broad range of materialsAble to work flexible hours to support prototype buildsExcellent attention to detail, communication, and customer focus skillsDemonstrated ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbsProficient with hand and power toolsFenestration / Window product knowledge a plusCOMPENSATION: Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.
