At Active Day, we're looking for dedicated individuals to join our team in a flexible dual role as a Program Assistant / Driver - where no two days are the same and your impact is always meaningful.What We Offer:$500 Performance Bonus for every 500 completed tripsPaid Time Off (PTO)Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanA fun, team-focused work environment where your work truly mattersProgram Assistant / Activities Assistant Responsibilities:Assist members with personal care including hygiene, dressing, toileting, transfers, and mobilityLead and support recreational activities, games, music, and social programsServe and assist with meals and snacksCreate a warm, welcoming environment that encourages member participationMonitor member wellbeing and follow safety and care protocolsDriver / Shuttle Driver Responsibilities:Safely transport members to and from our centers, medical appointments, and community outingsPush, pull, bend, squat, turn, pivot, transfer and lift at least 50 poundsAssist members with mobility devices and secure wheelchairs or walkersConduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issuesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicleFollow DOT and safety regulations; communicate respectfully with caregivers and center staffRequired Skills & Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED (preferred, not required)At least 21 years oldValid driver’s license with a minimum of 3 years driving experienceAbility to pass DOT physical, background check, drug screening, and MVR reviewPhysical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and assist members in/out of vehiclesAbility to walk, stand, sit, bend for extended periodsPreferred Experience:Prior experience in any of the following roles:Healthcare, senior care, or adult day centersTransportation or shuttle driving for seniors or special needsCNA, PCA, or caregiving rolesRecreation or activity planningKnowledge of local routes, GPS navigation, and basic vehicle maintenance#INDAD
