Estate Planning Attorney

Description We are looking for a skilled Associate Attorney to join our team in the Silicon Valley. In this role, you will work closely with clients to address their estate planning, elder law, special needs, and estate tax planning needs. This position offers the opportunity to manage client interactions, draft and review legal documents, and take on independent client matters as you grow within the firm. Responsibilities: u2022 Provide comprehensive legal counsel on estate planning, elder law, special needs trusts, and estate tax matters. u2022 Draft, review, and finalize legal documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. u2022 Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all documentation. u2022 Represent clients in probate and estate administration proceedings, offering guidance and advocacy. u2022 Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development. u2022 Manage ongoing client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and clear communication. u2022 Develop and implement estate succession plans tailored to clientsu2019 unique needs and goals. u2022 Stay updated on changes in estate law and tax regulations to provide informed advice. u2022 Balance multiple client matters and deadlines efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning, elder law, special needs, or estate tax planning. u2022 Proven expertise in probate and estate administration processes. u2022 Strong analytical and organizational abilities to manage complex cases. u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. u2022 Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment. u2022 Admission to the State Bar of California and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. u2022 Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. u2022 A proactive attitude and eagerness to grow within a boutique law firm setting.
