Power BI Engineer

Description We are looking for a skilled Power BI Engineer to join our team in Pompano Beach, Florida, on a Contract to permanent basis. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in business intelligence technologies to enhance data integration, streamline workflows, and improve reporting capabilities. This position offers the opportunity to work with tools like Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps to support critical business operations. Responsibilities: u2022 Integrate new data sources from internal systems into the Azure database environment. u2022 Develop and implement efficient data models within Power BI to optimize reporting and analytics. u2022 Prepare, transform, and load data to ensure seamless functionality within Power BI dashboards. u2022 Utilize Power Automate to design and refine workflows, enabling automation of business processes. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data reporting strategies with organizational goals. u2022 Support the transition of data models to Analysis Services, addressing capacity limitations. u2022 Explore and utilize Power Apps to enhance application functionality where necessary. u2022 Ensure data accuracy and reliability through thorough testing and validation processes. u2022 Provide technical guidance and support to team members on best practices for BI tools. Requirements u2022 Extensive experience working with Power BI, including backend development and data modeling. u2022 Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and integration. u2022 Hands-on expertise in utilizing Power Automate for workflow automation. u2022 Familiarity with Power Apps is preferred but not required. u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex data challenges. u2022 Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. u2022 Solid understanding of Azure database environments and integration processes. u2022 Previous experience in a wholesale distribution or similar industry is a plus.
