Trial Attorney

Description Reputable California firm is seeking a litigation attorney to join their Northern California team. As a Trial Attorney, you will be handling litigation matters, assisting with employment law issues, and playing a key role in their business and real estate group. You will be responsible for drafting legal notices and letters, managing discovery processes, and attending trials or hearings. This role can be mostly remote, but the person will be residing in Northern California. Responsibilities: u2022 Handle litigation cases and employment law matters for clients u2022 Draft legal notices and letters u2022 Conduct discovery for various cases u2022 Prepare and file motions, utilizing available templates u2022 Attend trials and hearings, both virtually and in-person u2022 Maintain regular contact with prospective and current clients, possibly answering inquiries about our services Requirements u2022 Must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school u2022 Must be licensed to practice law in the state u2022 Prior experience in civil litigation is essential u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills u2022 Strong negotiation and advocacy skills u2022 Ability to work independently and as part of a team u2022 High ethical standards and professional integrity u2022 Strong research and analytical skills u2022 Ability to manage multiple deadlines and respond to changing priorities u2022 Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite u2022 Must be willing to continue learning and stay updated on current laws and regulations.
