Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Orchard Park, New York. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in financial management. You will play a critical role in optimizing financial processes and ensuring the accuracy of company records. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting. u2022 Prepare detailed financial statements and analyze profit and loss data to support strategic decision-making. u2022 Manage account reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial records. u2022 Lead year-end accounting activities, including audits and compliance reviews. u2022 Review inventory management processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency. u2022 Collaborate on optimizing Sage systems to enhance operational effectiveness. u2022 Supervise accounts payable functions, including oversight of external systems and vendors. u2022 Provide guidance and solutions to improve financial workflows and organizational efficiency. u2022 Monitor and refine manufacturing cost accounting processes to align with company goals. u2022 Develop and maintain financial controls to safeguard company asset Requirements u2022 Proven experience with Sage 300 and Sage 100 software. u2022 Strong background in manufacturing industry accounting. u2022 Cost accounting and related processes. u2022 Solid understanding of financial statement preparation and analysis. u2022 Ability to manage month-end and year-end financial activities. u2022 Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. u2022 Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
