Plaintiff Litigation Paralegal

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Plaintiff Litigation Paralegal to join our team in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting attorneys with case preparation, discovery management, and client coordination. This position offers an opportunity to work on complex litigation matters involving multiple plaintiffs, requiring strong organizational skills and legal expertise. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage intricate multi-plaintiff cases, ensuring client information is accurately gathered, analyzed, and organized. u2022 Maintain and update comprehensive client databases to support case management. u2022 Conduct thorough client intake interviews to gather essential case details. u2022 Monitor discovery and filing deadlines, keeping attorneys informed of upcoming tasks and ensuring timely submissions. u2022 Coordinate the collection of documents from clients to support discovery responses and establish liability and damages claims. u2022 Request and organize records such as medical bills, medical records, police reports, and other relevant documentation. u2022 Summarize and systematically organize medical records and associated expenses for case preparation. u2022 Assist attorneys with drafting and responding to written discovery requests, including interrogatories and Fact Sheets. u2022 File complaints, motions, and other legal pleadings with precision and timeliness. u2022 Notify lienholders and manage lien information effectively, ensuring compliance with settlement procedures. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in discovery management and civil litigation processes. u2022 Strong knowledge of trial preparation and case management software. u2022 Familiarity with plaintiff litigation, particularly in personal injury and mass tort cases. u2022 Ability to summarize and organize medical records and bills accurately. u2022 Proficiency in drafting and filing legal documents, including complaints and motions. u2022 Excellent organizational and communication skills to handle complex cases. u2022 Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities. u2022 Paralegal certification or equivalent legal education preferred.
