This position is based out of our administrative headquarters in Glen Allen, VA.Starting as anAccounting Intern, you will be exposed to basic accounting procedures and principles ranging from accounts payable and receivable systems to financial statement, preparation, and analysis. Duties include but are not limited to:Assist in preparing financial statement & analysisWork closely with rental branches and other departmentsReview analytics and Key Performance Indicators of businessAssist accounting managers with reports, etc.Involved with A/P & A/R functions; cash receiptsAssist in accounting schedules & reconciliations.Perform miscellaneous administrativeduties as neededEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/VeteransMust be at least 18 years oldMust be an Accounting or Finance major graduating with a Bachelor Degree by December 2026 or May 2027Must have basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and WordMust have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 convicted moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years (Total points on driving record cannot exceed 8 points).No drug or alcohol related violations on driving record in the past 3 years.Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.Must be available to work a Full-Time 40 hour schedule during the Summer Internship.
