Benefits may vary based on state law.Coordinator Infection Control/Employee Health coordinates hospital Infection Prevention / Control and Employee Health program activities under the direction of the Director of Patient Care Services, interprets and administers applicable policies, procedures, standards, and regulations as needed. Shriners Portland is looking for a full time (would consider part time), Coordinator Infection Control/Employee Health to join our amazing team!Schedule: Full time 1.0 FTE (would consider part time)Collects and analyzes data and statistics and prepare reports for designated hospital committees. Reports to appropriate internal and external organizations as indicatedDemonstrates knowledge of Infection Surveillance/Controlto provide consultation to hospital departmentsDemonstrates knowledge and skills to develop Infection Control presentation for monthly New Employee Orientation program and annual in-serviceprogramsDevelops and implements program for employee screening and immunization according to Infection Control policies. 'Employee Health TB Screening,' Employee Health Rubella and Rubeola Screening,' and 'Employee Health VaricellaScreening'Develops and implements program to monitor/record employee illnesses/infectious disease occurrence according to Infection Control Policies:'Employee/Volunteer Infectious Illnesses,' and 'Infection ControlEmployee Health Screening and VaccinationsCoordinates Hospital Infection Control Committee functions and activities; participates in other hospital committees as assigned by supervisorProvides data and reports to various internal and external reporting systemsNote: This is not an all-inclusive list of this job's responsibilities.
