We want your knowledge and expertise Job Summary and Qualifications Supervises the performance of Laboratory personnel within specialized sections of the clinical laboratory. Orients and trains within these sections and performs testing as needed. Performs duties with a perceptive depth of clinical laboratory tests and procedures, which require the exercise of independent judgement and responsibility. Thorough knowledge of CAP, TJC, CLIA regulations. Assists Manager and /or Director with projects as needed. What you will do in this role: + u00b7Supervises workflow and staff; educates and trains employees, maintains daily work schedule. + u00b7Evaluates reagents, equipment, new test methods, QA and PI data. + u00b7Has thorough knowledge of CAP, TJC, CLIA regulations as each relates to Laboratory functions. + u00b7Participates in employee evaluations. + u00b7Ensures that all policies and procedures are performed as defined in section policy and procedure manuals approved by the Medical Director of the Laboratory.
