Cleveland Clinic is recognized in the US and throughout the world for expertise and care.Embrace the opportunity to be a part of a collegial work environment, where CRNAs, and MDAs come together to ensure the highest level of patient care.We offer a supportive and nurturing atmosphere for both seasoned and new CRNAsOur CRNAs manage a wide range of cases that will challenge and engage youVarious scheduling options availableWeekend and holiday obligations infrequentIn-house call 3pm - 7am only 4-5 times per year as part of regularly scheduled hours per weekOpportunities to pick up extra shifts for additional income.We are proud to offer a competitive benefits package including: Competitive compensation and supplemental pay rateSign-on bonuses for eligible new graduates and experienced providersStudent loan repaymentPaid time off plus 6 paid holidaysCEU package and internal CEU opportunitiesProfessional reimbursementsExceptional Medical, Dental, Vision Benefits - effective day one of employmentEmployer paid life insuranceShort and long-term disability coverage for full-time caregiversParental leave equal to 100% pay up to 12 weeks (full-time caregivers)Relocation reimbursementPaid interview expensesRetirement Savings Plans (up to 5.5% total Cleveland Clinic contributions immediately upon hire/ increases with years of service)Malpractice covered at no cost to the CRNAResearch and teaching opportunities (not required, but available if interested)Cleveland Clinic is an eligible employer for PSLF (Public Student Loan Forgiveness)We invite you to take the next step in your career at Cleveland ClinicResponsibilities:Performs and documents a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient.Develops and implements an anesthetic plan of care, including monitoring modalities and post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care.Selects, obtains and administers the anesthetic plan of care, including induction, maintenance and emergence phase anesthesia.Recognizes alterations in physiologic responses to the surgical procedure and/or the anesthetic, takes appropriate action and notifies the responsible physician as indicated.Other duties as assigned.Education: Graduate of accredited CRNA program.Certifications:Must have a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) and a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) from the Ohio Board of Nursing.Must have current certification and continued professional certification (CPC) with the National Board of Certification Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) and State Board of Nursing endorsement.Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) are required.Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through American Heart Association (AHA) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) through American Academy of Pediatrics certifications may be required based upon work plexity of Work: Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment.Work Experience: None RequiredPhysical Requirements: Requires full range of motion; manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time and the ability to lift and transport patients.Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.Ability to work under extreme pressure.Personal Protective Equipment: Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Pay RangeMinimum Annual Salary: $201,535.00Maximum Annual Salary: $259,110.00The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.). The pay range does not include the value of Cleveland Clinic’s benefits package (e.g., healthcare, dental and vision benefits, retirement savings account contributions, etc.).
